Choir Mission
INTRODUCTION An integral part of our Lutheran Worship is a rich heritage of music. Our worship offers a variety of worship styles to praise God and hear His Word. We honor our rich liturgical heritage and
yet are willing to use doctrinally sound contemporary music. MISSION The Mission of the volunteer choir is to support and enhance the worship of our Lord Jesus Christ at Sunday services and on other
occasions. In Word and song, the choir leads the congregation each week from October to May. MINISTER OF MUSIC Donna Smith began
leading our Sanctuary Choir and our worship on January 18th. Donna has a rich background in music. She currently teaches music at The Venice Christian School, plays violin and piano in The Venice Symphony, has a string quartet that plays for different community and private events,
and teaches violin.
